Police detains extortionist of money from ministers
The police detained an extortionist of money from the ministers. The Central Internal Affairs Directorate of Bishkek informed 24.kg news agency.
According to the agency, the fact was registered and a criminal case under article «Fraud» was opened. During the active search measures, a 25-year-old Kyrgyz citizen was detained. He was placed in the pretrial detention center. An investigation is under way.
The suspect called new ministers by phone, in particular the head of the Ministry of Agriculture Nurbek Murashev, and extorted money.
He introduced himself as a «right hand» of the president and said that the ministers must thank for the post. «He took not much, but he had managed to collect from several heads of departments $ 150 each,» the police told.
