Candidate for Prosecutor General to check suspended by predecessors cases
The candidate for the post of Prosecutor General of Kyrgyzstan Otkurbek Dzhamshitov after the appointment intends to check all the criminal cases, suspended by his predecessors. He said this today at a meeting of the parliamentary majority coalition.
Otkurbek Dzhamshitov noted that he intends to fulfill the tasks set by the president in February at a meeting of the Security Council.
«We will take into account the criticism of the president, expressed at the meeting of the Security Council. Let’s start working in other way. We will analyze all the suspended criminal cases. We will change the form of the work of the prosecutor’s office and consider the use of powers by prosecutors,» he said.
