Name of candidate for Prosecutor General post voiced
The name of the candidate for the post of the Prosecutor General of Kyrgyzstan was voiced. Deputies of the Parliament are to consider the candidacy of Otkurbek Dzhamshitov for the post of the country’s Prosecutor General. Sources in the Parliament informed 24.kg news agency.
In 1996, he graduated from the Kyrgyz National University with a degree in jurisprudence.
In 1997, he began his career as an intern, assistant prosecutor in Talas prosecutor’s office. From 1999 to 2008, he worked as an investigator in the prosecutor’s offices of Talas, Bakai-Ata, Alay districts, in Osh regional prosecutor’s office.
On January 21, 2008, he was appointed deputy prosecutor of Kadamdzhay district prosecutor’s office. In 2011, he worked as a prosecutor of Lyailyak district.
Since July 1, 2015 — the prosecutor of Jalal-Abad region.
He has a class rank of the Judicial Counsellor 2nd class.
