Prosecutor Ulan Chalbaev arrested
The head of the Office for Maintenance of the State Prosecution and Representation in the Courts of the Prosecutor General’s Office Ulan Chalbaev was formally charged with taking a bribe in an especially large amount. Press center of the State Committee for National Security reported.
According to the committee, the Pervomaiskiy District Court of Bishkek chose for Ulan Chalbaev a preventive measure in the form of detention in SCNS pretrial detention center until the end of the investigation.
The investigation is under way.
The staff of the State Committee for National Security detained the prosecutor on April 16. It is known that Ulan Chalbaev extorted $ 500,000.
