Climber from Switzerland falls off Ala-Archa glacier
A climber fell off the Upper Ala-Archa glacier. The press service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations reported.
On April 20, at about 11.00 pm it received information from a man, N.M., about a 31-year-old climber, who fell off a glacier on the territory of Ala-Archa gorge, according to preliminary data, a Swiss citizen.
At the moment, the issue of involving a helicopter of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of the Kyrgyz Republic for the transportation of the man is being decided.
«According to N.M., they are in the hut of the former ski center near the glacier. The condition of the victim is unknown,» the Ministry of Emergency Situation noted.
