SCNS officers detain pranker in Kyrgyzstan
Officers of the State Committee for National Security detained a pranker the day before. The press service of the committee reported.
The 34-year-old man on April 12, introducing himself as one of the heads of the Presidential Administration of Kyrgyzstan, called the authorized representative of the government in Issyk-Kul region and the head of the Directorate for Management of the Issyk-Kul Development Fund.
Under the threat of dismissal, he demanded to reinstate the former deputy head of the directorate, who is a defendant in the criminal case on appropriation of the fund’s resources.
In connection with the frequent cases of such suspicious phone calls on behalf of the authorities, the SCNS calls the citizens to be vigilant and immediately inform the law enforcement bodies.
