Police interrogates more than 100 people over Toguz-Toro riots
More than 100 people have been interrogated on the fact of arson at the Chinese enterprise GL Makmal Developing in Toguz-Toro district of Jalal-Abad region. The Ministry of Internal Affairs informed 24.kg news agency.
It is specified that the people have been interrogated in the framework of the initiated criminal case.
«There are already suspects. However, nobody was charged so far,» the Interior Ministry said.
Recall, on April 11, residents of Toguz-Toro district held a rally and set a gold processing plant under construction on fire.
The police opened a criminal case under the articles «Hooliganism», «Deliberate destruction or damage of someone’s property by arson», «Mass disorders» of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic over the riots in Toguz-Toro district. Nobody has been detained so far.
