Bolot Suyunbaev replaces Osmonov as head of Financial Police
The head of the State Service for Combating Economic Crimes, Zamirbek Osmonov, resigned. Own sources informed 24.kg news agency.
Zamirbek Osmonov’s resignation is reportedly connected with a loud criminal case on illegal VAT refunding for 847 million soms.
Bolot Suyunbaev took the post. According to the source, the new leader has already been introduced to the staff.
Bolot Suyunbaev is ex-Director of the Analysis and Forecasting Service of the State Committee for National Security of the Kyrgyz Republic in the rank of the Deputy Chairman of SCNS. He was dismissed on April 7, 2018.
