Fire area in Osh market – 2,000 square meters
The area of fire in the Osh market, according to preliminary data, reached 2,000 square meters. The press service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations informed 24.kg news agency.
The fire call was received at about 4.00 am. Ten fire teams left for the scene. The police cordoned off the territory of Osh market.
Firefighters brought the fire under control at 7.40 am.
Three firefighters got poisoned by combustion gases.
This is the third major fire in the market in 2018. Retailers and MES suspect arson. The second fire at the market was also caused by arson, and the first — by a wiring fault.
