The peaceful transfer of power in Kyrgyzstan has served as an example for the countries of Central Asia.
The President of the European Commission Jean-Claude Juncker told journalists the day before.
He congratulated Sooronbai Jeenbekov on his election as the President of Kyrgyzstan and noted that the peaceful transfer of power in the country served as a good example for the entire region. «Kyrgyzstan is an important partner for the European Union. That’s why we started discussing the new agreement,» Jean-Claude Juncker said.
The parties indicated a desire to develop economic cooperation.
