Freight carriers began to pass tank trucks with fuel to the south of the republic. The head of the professional association Cholponbek Zhanbaev told 24.kg news agency.
According to him, two hundred tank trucks have accumulated at Sosnovka checkpoint.
«We started partially passing the trucks. However, we do not intend to stop the strike,» Cholponbek Zhanbaev said.
Truck drivers demand to cancel compulsory insurance for drivers of trucks and minibuses. The second requirement is to eradicate corruption in the Ministry of Transport and Roads and the Department of Weight and Dimensional Control.
Carriers say that there is already a deficit of fuel and lubricants in the south. However, the Ministry of Transport and Roads says the opposite.
