Kyrgyz citizens try to smuggle 59 bags of cotton seeds from Uzbekistan
A channel for the supply of smuggled goods from Uzbekistan to Kyrgyzstan has been suppressed in Jalal-Abad region. The State Border Service of the Kyrgyz Republic reported.
According to it, border detachment detained 8 Kyrgyz citizens when they received smuggled goods in Kaiyrma area of Nooken district.
The State Border Service of the Kyrgyz Republic noted that the law breakers did not directly violate the state border, but act more subtly, throwing goods over the border.
This time, 59 bags of cotton seeds were illegally smuggled into Kyrgyzstan. According to preliminary calculations, the total cost of the illegal cargo amounted to more than 100,000 soms.
