U.S. dollar rises in price by 20 tyiyns for day in Kyrgyzstan
U.S. dollar started growing in price in Kyrgyzstan again after a months and a half. For a day, the American currency has grown in price by 20 tyiyns.
Today, the capital’s exchange offices and commercial banks buy the dollar for 68.35 soms, and sell — for 68.55-68.6. The nominal rate of the National Bank is 68,3867 soms (0.29 percent growth per day).
Since the beginning of the year, Kyrgyz som has strengthened against the dollar by 1 percent. At the same time, on March 27, the Chairman of the National Bank of Kyrgyzstan Tolkunbek Abdygulov described the situation in the foreign exchange market as stable. However, the next day, almost all commercial banks sold the dollar for 68.4 soms, and today, they raised its price by 20 tyiyns.
