Asian Development Bank to continue supporting Kyrgyzstan
The Asian Development Bank is ready to render all possible assistance in implementing projects in Kyrgyzstan. Its Vice-President Zhang Wencai said this at a meeting with the President of the Kyrgyz Republic Sooronbai Jeenbekov.
The Head of State thanked the ADB for support and noted the positive experience of the work.
Zhang Wencai stressed that the Asian Development Bank is developing a strategy for cooperation with the republic for the next six years and considers it expedient to discuss with the Kyrgyz side the prospects for partnership.
Sooronbai Jeenbekov recalled that in the near future the draft of the National Development Strategy of the Kyrgyz Republic for 2018-2040 would be adopted. He expressed hope that ADB would take an active part in the development of Kyrgyzstan and support all initiatives of the country’s leadership.
