Ex-chairman of Military Court put on the wanted list in Kyrgyzstan
The former chairman of the Military Court Nurlanbek Ashymbekov was put on the wanted list in Kyrgyzstan. Own sources in law enforcement agencies informed 24.kg news agency.
Nurlanbek Ashymbekov is accused of extorting a bribe of $ 50,000 from the former deputy head of the State Guard Service, Daniyar Dunganov, for changing the measure of restraint and a positive decision in delivering the verdict.
Daniyar Dunganov was one of the main participants in the case on April 7, 2010 events. He was sentenced to 25 years in prison.
According to sources, Nurlanbek Ashymbekov was put under house arrest. When the case was brought to court, the defendant did not attend the hearing. In this regard, the former chairman of the Military Court was put on the wanted list.
