Kyrgyzstan plans to set one-time tariff for cargo 200
The Government of Kyrgyzstan intends to set one-time tariff for cargo 200. The head of the Labor Migration Department of the State Migration Service under the Government Ulan Shamshiev told today during video conference.
According to him, last year, 1,616 million soms were paid for the transportation of the bodies of dead migrants who worked abroad.
«51 people received money. About 28,000 soms were paid to each of them. But the compensation is paid mainly after the sending of the body. Therefore, initially the cargo is sent thanks to representatives of the diaspora,» he said.
«To receive compensation, it is necessary to present air ticket and checks for other expenses. Money can be get not only by relatives, but also by other persons who paid for transportation. Of course, compensation will not cover all the expenses. But we want to increase the number of recipients,» he said.
