Bishkek-Osh road opened for traffic. Vehicles passed in groups
The Bishkek-Osh road was cleared of snow and opened for traffic. Press service of the Ministry of Transport informed 24.kg news agency.
At the moment, the vehicles are passed in groups not to create traffic jams.
«The road is open for traffic in both directions. Employees of the Ministry of Transport, Road Safety Department and the Ministry of Emergency Situations conduct explanatory work with drivers,» the Ministry of Transport informed.
Recall, an avalanche of 2.5 million cubic meters descended on March 13 at the 246th kilometer of the road, 144,000 cubic meters of snow blocked the roadway. The road was closed for three days for clearing.
