Personnel department teaches 900 officials state language for 3 years
Over the past three years, more than 900 state and municipal employees have completed the Kyrgyz language courses. The Deputy Chairman of the Personnel Department Kalybek Alyshpayev told today at a press conference.
According to him, the officials are taught according to the special program «Business Kyrgyz.»
«Their knowledge of the Kyrgyz language should be in line with the position. But this year all of them pass only pilot tests. No measures will be taken. Testing is introduced only to determine the level of knowledge of the language of the officials. Those who fail the test will be retrained within a year,» said Kalybek Alyshpayev.
«According to the law, they must know the state language initially,» said Kalybek Alyshpayev.
Qualification of officials for Kyrgyz language knowledge will start from January 2019.
