Botulism in Kara-Suu. One more child dies
One more child died from botulism. Press center of the Ministry of Health reported.
Recall, 17 people were taken to the hospital with botulism in Savai village, Kara-Suu district.
According to the ministry, the child at the age of 2.2 was transferred from the Kara-Suu Territorial Hospital on February 13 to Osh Interregional Children’s Clinical Hospital.
Diagnosis: food botulism, severe form, pneumonia, hypoxic cerebral edema, cerebral coma. The night before, despite resuscitation measures, the small patient died.
As of today, there are three children in moderately severe state in the infectious department of Osh City Children’s Hospital. Five other patients are in the Territorial Hospital of Kara-Suu, four of them — in the infectious department in a satisfactory condition, another patient — in the intensive care unit in moderately severe state.
