Seven forest husbandry employees, who allowed deforestation, dismissed in 2017
After an audit to detect unauthorized deforestation, seven people were dismissed from their posts in the forest husbandry based on the decisions of the technical councils. This was announced at the board meeting of the State Agency for Environmental Protection and Forestry at the end of the year.
The inspection detected 579.7 cubic meters of logged wood, the damage amounted to 1.9 million soms. The number of felled trees is 2,209 pieces.
At least 14 employees were brought to financial liability, 55 people — to disciplinary.
