Shepherd illegally crosses border in Ala-Buka, wounded by Uzbek border guards
A Kyrgyz citizen illegally crossed the Kyrgyz-Uzbek border in Ala-Buka district of Jalal-Abad region. Head of the region Sonunbek Akparaliyev informed 24.kg news agency.
As he told, Uzbek border guards wounded 37-year-old Asan Usenbayev, citizen of Kyrgyzstan, in leg.
«It is known that the man crossed the border at undemarcated site in Kok-Serek area. Border guards of the Republic of Uzbekistan fired off warning shots. However, our citizen did not react to them, and the servicemen shot to kill. Currently, Usenbayev is in the hospital in Namangan region. In the near future, he will be transported to Kyrgyzstan,» Akparaliyev told.
