U.S. dollar rises in price by 50 tyiyns in Kyrgyzstan in 2018
After a December fall, U.S. dollar in Kyrgyzstan repeatedly gains its positions. Since the beginning of the year, it has risen in price by 50 tyiyns.
Today, the capital’s exchange offices and commercial banks buy dollar for 69.25-69.4 soms, and sell — for 69.4-69.55. The nominal rate was set at 69.23 soms (growth for a day — 0.09 percent).
Recall, in the last days of December, the exchange rate of the American currency fell to 68.9-69 soms. The National Bank remained silent and did not conduct currency interventions. As a result, dollar started rising in price already in the first days of January.
