Snowfalls in Kyrgyzstan to continue until next week
Snowfall is forecasted in Kyrgyzstan for January 14 through January 16, on January 13 — in some areas. Press service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Kyrgyz Republic reported.
According to it, increase of the western wind to 17-22 meters per second is possible.
A decrease in air temperature is also expected. Air temperature will fall to −12 ...- 7 at night in Chui, Talas valleys and in Issyk-Kul basin, in the daytime — to −7 ...- 2 degrees. In the valley zone of Osh, Jalal-Abad and Batken regions the temperature at night will reach −8 ...- 3, in the daytime −3 ... + 2; in the agriculture zone of Naryn region and in the mountain regions it will fall to −25 ...- 20 degrees at night, in the daytime −12 ...- 7, in high-mountain areas at night — to −35.
