Plenipotentiary representative in Jalal-Abad prepares lawsuit against media
Plenipotentiary representative of the government in Jalal-Abad region Kiyanbek Satybaldiev said that he is ready to sue the media. His lawyers are preparing a lawsuit for 10 million soms. Office of the head of the region confirmed the information to 24.kg news agency.
According to it, Kiyanbek Satybaldiyev did not like the article in the Kyrgyz-language Internet outlet «Kyrgyz Times.» It says that the plenipotentiary representative has purchased a diploma of higher education. Journalists even indicated the price: $ 800.
The official denies this. As he said he has two higher educations — economic and legal ones. Kiyanbek Satybaldiev clarified that the Internet outlet published a refutation, but other Kyrgyz-language media have already reposted it. The official intends to sue with them.
