Kyrgyz-Chinese border temporarily closed
The checkpoints Torugart and Irkeshtam on the Kyrgyz-Chinese section of the state border will be temporarily closed from December 30 to January 1 inclusive. The Department for Public Relations and Mass Media of the State Border Service of Kyrgyzstan reported.
According to it, the border is closed on the initiative of the Chinese side in connection with the celebration of the New Year.
Passage of persons, vehicles and cargo will resume on January 2, 2018.
