Construction of road China – Kyrgyzstan – Uzbekistan to be discussed soon
President of the Kyrgyz Republic Sooronbai Jeenbekov received the Minister of Transport and Roads Zhamshitbek Kalilov, the Information Policy Department of the President’s Office reported.
According to it, the head of state was informed about:
— issues of cooperation with neighboring countries in the development of road, rail and air traffic;
— ongoing reforms in the road transport sector management system;
— ongoing projects to improve the road and transport infrastructure, as well as the current situation in the sector.
The Head of State noted the importance of developing the transport infrastructure for diversifying markets and increasing transit potential.
