IMF keeps in force GDP growth forecast for Kyrgyzstan

According to the estimations of the fund, the GDP of the republic will grow by 3.2 percent. In 2018, the figure will be slightly higher — 3.3 percent. This is exactly the forecast made by the IMF mission in early November.
In 2019, the fund expects a more significant growth — 4.9 percent. This is the highest rate for 2016-2022. The inflation rate in 2017 is expected to be 3.2 percent, next year it will rise to 5.5 percent, and in 2019 — to 5.2 percent.
The level of state debt at the end of 2017 will be 57.1 percent of GDP. In 2018, it will rise to 58.2 percent. The highest public debt to GDP ratio is expected in 2019 — 58.4 percent.
