Names of possible candidates for Security Council Secretary voiced
Secretary of the Security Council Almazbek Kurmanaliev was relieved of his post. President Sooronbai Jeenbekov signed a decree.
The Security Council and Presidential Administration voiced 24.kg news agency the names of possible candidates for this post. According to sources, the head of the State Committee for Defense Affairs Mirbek Kasymkulov and Chief of the General Staff Raimberdi Duishenbiev are considered as candidates.
«But it’s still difficult to say with absolute certainty who will become the secretary of the Security Council. Probably, even none of the above-named candidates,» sources added.
Almazbek Kurmanaliev was appointed to the post in October 2017.
