President of Kyrgyzstan tells when judicial reform to start working
President of Kyrgyzstan Almazbek Atambayev told when the judicial reform will start working.
According to him, financing of the courts had been increased five-fold.
«The Supreme Court moved into a new building — next to the government, parliament and president. But the main thing is that we were able to develop 7-8 codes. The judicial reform will work only when these codes will be working. Some laws are contradictory today, they contain corruption. I will give one example: you can be fined or spend 25 years in prison. What will a defendant prefer? It is clear,» Almazbek Atambayev said.
