According to it, the corresponding government decree was signed by the Prime Minister of the Kyrgyz Republic Sapar Isakov.
The decision was made as part of the implementation of the Government Program «Zhany Doorgo Kyrk Kadam» for 2018-2023. The Agency for the Promotion and Protection of Investments will deal with the implementation of state policy in this area, and in its activity reports directly to the Prime Minister.
The raised status will make it easier to enter the foreign investor on the Kyrgyz market and eliminate bureaucratic barriers.
«The activities of the new agency will be aimed at attracting and promoting investments in the Kyrgyz economy, protecting them, assisting domestic enterprises in promoting goods to foreign markets, developing mechanisms and creating favorable conditions for the development of public-private partnership, implementing state policy for the operation of free economic zones,» department noted.
