Kyrgyzstan needs Japan’s investments
Minister of Economy Artem Novikov at a meeting with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Japan to the Kyrgyz Republic Yoshihiro Yamamura noted that for many years Japan has been one of the most friendly and reliable partners for Kyrgyzstan.
«But the existing potential in the trade and economic aspect is not used to the full. In this context, it is extremely important to direct joint efforts to develop and intensify these areas,» Artem Novikov said.
At the end of the meeting, the parties agreed to create a legal and regulatory framework to strengthen cooperation and agreed to start formal negotiations on the conclusion of a bilateral agreement. It will be aimed at attracting Japanese investments.
