Since November 7, execution of declarations for the export of gasoline from Russia to Kyrgyzstan has been resumed. The Association of Oil Traders of the Kyrgyz Republic reported.

It is noted that for ten months of 2017 at least 818,700 tons of oil products were imported into the republic, including 367,500 tons of gasoline and 451,200 tons of diesel fuel.

«The previously suspended execution of declarations for the export of motor gasoline from Russia to Kyrgyzstan was resumed. Now the State Committee for Industry, Energy and Subsoil Use of the Kyrgyz Republic is holding negotiations with the Ministry of Energy of the Russian Federation on the resumption of duty-free declaring of diesel fuel. At the same time, the batches of petroleum products continue to arrive in the republic on the basis of previously issued export documents. The Association also appealed to the government of Kyrgyzstan with a request to assist in the early resolution of the issue,» the Association commented.

It is noted that in recent months, the Russian oil products market has seen an increase in wholesale prices at refineries. The increase in prices is caused by the reduction in production at a number of large plants during the autumn repair and maintenance works. In addition, the increase in the price of oil and oil products on the world market led to an increase in the value of wholesale batches.

The growth of wholesale prices in recent days has intensified due to the increased demand from Kazakhstan, where there was a shortage of diesel fuel after the failure of Pavlodar refinery. The resulting shortage of diesel fuel is replenished by additional supplies from Russia.

Over the past few days, fuel in Kyrgyzstan has risen in price by 1-1.5 soms. The State Committee of Industry, Energy and Subsoil Use noted that the available fuel volumes are enough to cover the demand for the coming months.
