Deputies approve exemption of financial police employees from income tax
The deputies of the Parliament supported in the second reading the exemption of the financial police employees from the income tax. The decision was made today at a plenary session.
The incomes of the employees of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the State National Security Committee, the Ministry for Emergency Situations, the State Border Service and the State Penitentiary Service are not subject to income tax. The exception was the State Service for Combating Economic Crimes.
On average, 19,000 soms of income tax is withheld from financial police employee a year.
It should be noted that for 2015 and 2016, the State Service for Service for Combating Economic Crimes has brought to the budget 2.6 billion soms.
