The issue of denunciation of the agreement with Kazakhstan will be adopted in the Parliament of Kyrgyzstan without discussion and behind closed doors. The initiative was made by MP Karamat Orozova.
She suggested not to discuss the issue, as all the committees had already discussed it. In addition, voting must take place without press.
Deputies supported her. They gave the floor to the Deputy Prime Minister of the Kyrgyz Republic, Duishenbek Zilaliev, who explained the reason for the termination of the agreement.
«A number of measures were planned for updating the laboratories, but they were not fulfilled. $100 million in the form of technical assistance were not received. The agreements are not executed,» he said.
«Kazakhstan has changed the procedure for rendering assistance. The implementation of the agreements dragged on. For various reasons, assistance was not allocated. It became clear that the money would not be allocated soon. We decided not to wait for them. However, the question where we will find the means arises. We had to build veterinary laboratories,» Duishenbek Zilaliev stressed.
