None of Kyrgyzstan’s higher education institutions has entered the top 100 universities in Europe and Central Asia. QS Emerging Europe and Central Asia ranking says.
Three Russian universities lead in the ranking of universities in Europe and Central Asia. The Lomonosov Moscow State University takes the first place in the ranking for the third consecutive year, the second is the Novosibirsk State University. The third of the best is the Saint Petersburg State University.
It is noted that the university is small. Less than 5,000 students study there. It is less than 25 years old, and the level of research at the university was assessed as low.
The annual QS Emerging Europe and Central Asia rating is made by evaluating the universities in eight different indicators, including the online presence of the university and the proportion of employees with PhD.
