Residents of Maevka village complain of mass arsons. Journalist Albina Meterova posted in on Facebook.
«Over the past few days we have heard about the possibility of mass riots and provocations that are being prepared after the elections. All this was perceived as conjectures and assumptions not confirmed by concrete facts. Unfortunately, these words were not an empty sound. And the instigators of the riots really moved from words to deeds,» Meterova writes.
As the Ministry of Emergency Situations commented, seven fires were recorded in Chui region overnight, and two fires — in Bishkek.
«Let the Interior Ministry to find out whether it were arsons or not,» the press service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations told 24.kg news agency.
