Data on voter turnout from observers and CEC vary
The Coalition For Democracy and Civil Society reports that turnout of voters at 11.00 am was 15.2 percent (0.4 percent error).
Earlier, the First Deputy Prime Minister of the Kyrgyz Republic Tolkunbek Abdygulov said that at 11.00 am the voter turnout reached 6.2%.
The Coalition uses 95 percent confidence interval to calculate the error, which is a high level of accuracy accepted as a standard among statisticians around the world.
Parallel counting allows to systematically and impartially evaluate all voting day processes: opening of polling stations, voting, closure of polling stations and counting of votes. At the same time, the collection and analysis of voter turnout and election results without comprehensive monitoring of all electoral processes do not provide accurate data, since information can be based on incorrect or inadequately collected information.
