Hundred-meter observation tower to be built in Bishkek
Construction of a 100-meter observation tower in the southern part of the city is planned in the framework of the Bishkek development program for 2017-2020.
It is also planned to create commercial boulevards, avenues, streets and squares with predominantly pedestrian traffic.
Note, earlier such initiative was voiced by the deputy of parliament Dastan Bekeshev. However, the mayor’s office stressed that there is no such opportunity today.
In addition, the document provides for the creation of the city Philharmonic hall on the basis of «Jashtyk» center and a sports multifunctional complex on the basis of Spartak stadium; construction of city stadium.
The program hasn’t yet been approved, but only submitted for public discussion.
