About 2,000 trees hacked down on Bishkek-Kara-Balta road
At least 1,905 trees have been hacked down on Bishkek-Kara-Balta road. The Ministry of Transport and Roads informed.
According to it, as of today, the company Cһіna Railway No. 5 — the general contractor for the reconstruction of the road — mobilized personnel, machinery and equipment for the construction of the highway. 112 local residents and 35 foreigners will be engaged in the works.
As reported, on the segment of the road from the 45th to the 51st kilometer, 1,105 trees have been cut down, work on the construction of the road structure is underway.
