The deposits of rare-earth metals Kutessai-II and Kalesai were repeatedly put up for tender, the website of the State Committee for Industry, Energy and Subsoil Use reported.
It is noted that the tender commission has established the amount of payment for the right to use the subsoil of the object of the tender in the amount of not less than $ 10 million. At the same time, one of the requirements for participation in the tender is payment for a geological information package worth 2,32.4 million soms.
Recall, the field was put up for tender in 2016, following the example of Jerooy. This means that the winner of the competition takes all legal costs. The competition was won by the Kazakh company «Kemal Oil». As a result, it didn’t buy a license, and the contest was declared invalid.
