Two presidential candidates denied registration
The CEC refused to register two presidential candidates. The decision was made today at the meeting.
Further, the leader of Ata Meken party Omurbek Tekebayev can’t participate in the presidential race. It should be recalled that the Central Election Commission declared all his signature sheets invalid.
Akhmatbek Keldibekov was also removed from further participation in the elections. By law, he is considered to be convicted, and therefore can’t run.
Note, for today the CEC has registered the seventh candidate for presidency — Azimbek Beknazarov. The elections will be held on October 15, 2017.
