According to her, work on implementation of the government’s new program «Forty Steps to the Future» is underway.
«Three steps of them are aimed at reforms in the education system. One — in school education, the second — vocational training and the third — in the field of science. The next year in education is a preparatory one for the transition to a new basic curriculum,» Gulmira Kudaiberdiyeva said.
In total there are 2,236 schools in the republic.
