One third of respondents support toughening punishment for traffic violators
One-third of Kyrgyzstanis surveyed support the toughening of punishment for violators of the Rules of the Road. Data presented by the project «M-Report.»
When asked what the state authorities can do to prevent accidents, 27.9 percent of respondents answered: it is necessary to toughen penalties for drivers and pedestrians for violation of traffic rules. 25.8 percent determined for themselves that it is necessary to install photo and video surveillance to detect violations of the rules.
In the survey participated 462 respondents from all regions of the republic.
