Deputy Minister of Education of Turkey Orhan Erdem said during his visit to Bursa province that Turkey will not allow students of the network of Kyrgyz schools «Sapat» (Sebat) connected with Fethullah Gulen to enter its territory. This is reported by NEWS TURK.

During his speech, the Deputy Minister appealed to academicians from Kyrgyzstan who also attended the meeting of the Turkish Cooperation and Coordination Agency (TİKA).

«Tell your relatives, friends, and acquaintances not to visit these terrorist schools. With a high degree of probability, their visas upon arrival in Turkey will be canceled. Turkey will not be happy to see the families of those who study at these schools,» the edition quotes Erdem.

The press service of the educational institution «Sapat» noted that they don’t have such information. «Most of our students are schoolchildren, minors, so they don’t need to travel abroad until age 18. And students have a small share. Our organization didn’t personally face such a problem. There were no precedents yet,» the press service told 24.kg news agency.

The network of educational institutions «Sapat» in Kyrgyzstan has more than 11,000 students, about 1,000 teachers.

Recall, in the summer of 2016 Turkey raised the issue of the closure of Kyrgyz-Turkish lyceums, which allegedly are related to the preacher Fethullah Gulen, who lives in the United States.

The President of the Kyrgyz Republic said at a press conference in December 2016 that the Ministry of Education will become the founder of «Sebat». Then he said that the schools would be renamed to «Sapat,» but not be closed.
