Verdict to Sadyr Japarov appealed in city court
The verdict of the Pervomaisky District Court against the former deputy of the Parliament Sadyr Japarov was appealed in Bishkek City Court. This was announced the day before by the lawyer of the former MP Sharabidin Toktosunov.
According to him, the appeal to the higher authority was filed by the victim in the case Emilbek Kaptagaev.
«At the moment, the date for considering the case in the second instance is still unknown. We filed a complaint today,» Toktosunov said on Friday.
Recall, Sadyr Japarov was sentenced by the Pervomaiskiy District Court to 11.5 years in a penal colony with reinforced regime. He was acquitted in three articles — «Hooliganism», «Murder threat» and «Use of violence against a representative of the authorities». However, he was found guilty under the article «Taking a hostage.»
