Relevant aspects of international cooperation of the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) will be discussed during Eurasian Week Forum, which will start on August 24 in Astana. Its organizers informed.

It is noted the prospects for the development of international cooperation, preferences for business from deepening the cooperation of the EAEU will be considered at the round table «Vectors of international cooperation of EAEU. Opportunities for Business.»

«With the deepening of the Eurasian integration and the expansion of the international cooperation of EAEU, unique prospects related to the possibility of developing new markets, establishing cooperative ties, and also commodity and geographical diversification of trade are opening for business circles of the participating countries and partner countries. A new mechanism has been created and is actively developing, ensuring the practical implementation of the tasks that the business faces — the working groups on interaction between the Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC) and the governments of foreign countries,» the organizers note.

Such working groups have already been established with Mongolia, Chile, Peru, Cambodia, Singapore and Moldova. Preparation of memoranda with a number of states from different regions of the world is on the agenda. More than 50 countries of the world are interested in cooperation with EAEU.

Eurasian Week Forum is an annual event, conducted by the countries of EAEU and EEC. The initiative was approved in May 2015 by the decision of the five Prime Ministers of EAEU countries. The forum includes business and exposition parts, contributes to the establishment of B2B and B2G contacts. The first Eurasian Week Forum was held in October 2016, more than 400 speakers spoke at its site. 43 exhibitors from the countries of the union took part in the exhibition.
