It is planned to hold the Doors Open Day on the prevention of hepatitis with consultations of infectious disease specialists, the organization of laboratory diagnostics and the involvement of a commercial laboratory.
According to the Ministry of Health, every year, 120,000 people from the risk group are examined. 600–700 of them are diagnosed with the infection.
The World Hepatitis Day is marked today, July 28.
