Prosecutor asks to sentence Sadyr Japarov to 15 years in prison
During a trial of Safyr Japarov in Pervomaisky District Court of Bishkek, Prosecutor Bakyt Dokturbekov asked to punish the defendant with 13 years in prison under Article 113 (death threat), 2 years under Article 227 (hostage taking), 7 years under Article 341 (resistance to power) and 5 years under Article 341 (hooliganism).
In total, the prosecution asked to sentence the ex-MP to 15 years in jail.
Hearing of arguments of the parties is to take place at the next court meeting.
