Only about 55 percent of Nationwide Testing participants get threshold score
Only about 55 percent of the participants of the Nationwide Testing got the threshold score required for admission to higher education institutions.
In general, the testing was attended by 47,523 people. According to the Center for Educational Evaluation and Teaching Methods, 26,103 students got 110 points or more. The percentage of students who have passed the threshold in 2017 is higher than in 2016. At least 521 people got more than 200 points.
The Nationwide Testing has become mandatory for admission to all universities (regardless of the form of ownership) and to all departments — full-time (grant and contract) since 2012.
The threshold score for participation in the competition for admission to a higher education institution remains the same: 110 points for the basic test and 60 points for additional subjects. Admission campaign in universities starts on July 10.
