Prosecutors report threats during hearing of Aida Salyanova case
Representatives of the state prosecution reported about threats from the defendant’s supporters during hearing of the case of Aida Salyanova, deputy of Ata Meken parliamentary faction.
Employees of the prosecutor’s office petition to remove these people from the court room or to make them a notice. The defense of Aida Salyanova says that prosecutors can apply to law enforcement agencies.
Aida Salyanova is charged with abuse of official position when being the Minister of Justice. According to the State National Security Committee, she illegally extended the lawyer’s license to Aleksey Eliseev. Salyanova herself calls the criminal prosecution a political order.
